2020 HEALTH & SAFTETY PLAN: Please take a moment to familiariaze yourself with our plan to mitigate the risks of our football family contracting COVID-19 and other details. CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE PLAN. The plan first considers the Sports Guidance from the State of Pennsylvania which defines our Football Organization a Recreational Sport (not affiliated with a public or private PK-12 school). This means that limitations on attendance at home games will be contingent on general state and specific facility guidance; NOT the PK-12 PIAA ruling on no spectators. We then implemented the applicable guidance from the CDC's Consideration's for Youth Sports. In addition, a large portion of our plan echoes the West Shore School District Athletic Health and Safety Plan as we utilize their facilities on game day and their plan carefully considers the aforementioned State and CDC Guidance. Finally, we are keeping close tabs on information coming out from the PIAA as many in-game specific rules will be implemented by the referees at our games. In addition, we view the PIAA Football season as the most similar to ours in terms of local community teams playing other local teams within the local area.
Over the next week we will be developing Self-Assessment Questions as well as Safety FAQ's for Pracitce and Gameday. Stay tuned and Register Now!
